Planning

The ‘countdown’ is on.   Sue has 10 more days of work until her retirement.   The excitement is building for the end of her employment career as well as for our latest upcoming adventure. The planning is well underway.   Lists are being made, research on our route and hiking possibilities is being done, a new tablet has been purchased (a necessary evil after I inadvertently kicked the old one off the stairs and onto the concrete basement floor…it did not fare so well), and all sorts of last minute details are being worked out.   Again we are pulling in favours from family and friends.   I wonder how many times we can go to this ‘well’ before the revolt begins. For me it is going to be a busy 6 or 7 weeks.   Maple syrup production has finally started which has put on hold my building of kitchen cabinets.   Yes Patrik, I will get them finished before we depart one way or the other! Life is busy, but we would not want it any other way.   Stay tuned for our planned route for the ‘P
